What you need to do is to download "rom8x" just search for it , and follow the enclosed directions for sending the rom-dumper to your calculator and retrieving the ROM it should work with any link software and cable. It would mostly be as a backup option for people in case TI decides to no longer offer the most recent OS of a calculator model for some reason. Notify administrators if there is objectionable content in this page.

I think the context menu item invokes the OS downloader for you, so you never see the OS downloader window, only the transfer status window it's been a while since I used TI Connect.

Deoxal 10 Jun pluss I remember those days, but I never remembered it being that hard to reflash. They said that all it does is prepare the calc for the app called Test prep. The latest TI Plus operating system 2.

Last edited on 09 Jan You need to use the OS Downloader if you are using ticonnect. After reading through the comments, I decided to post a link to TI Planet ri, containing several operating systems for the calculators, as I do not believe new is always better.
It's just a better emulator. If anyone agrees with me, I'd be happy to do all of the work to make this happen.
